The Freedom of Information Act 2000 gives a general right of access to all types of recorded information held by public authorities, sets out exemptions from that right and places a number of obligations on public authorities. Further information about the Freedom of Information Act can be found on the Information Commissioner's Office website.
Most Freedom of Information requests are free as these can be sent via e-mail, or are available on our website, but you might be asked to pay a small amount for photocopies or postage. You will be told by the Parish Clerk in advance if you have to pay anything.
